Just face it.

In a sea of Crocs, mom jeans, and logo Ts, every once in a while I encounter an outfit worth taking a picture of. Sadly, I have no fancy SLR camera to take the photo with and if I did, the photo would probably turn out blurry and/or crooked. Luckily for me, there has been a proliferation of street fashion blogs and I get to admire fashionable looks from the comforts of my own home in my pajamas.

Usually when I am on the internets, I make it a habit of checking out Face Hunter or The Sartorialist for some fashion inspiration. The documentation of street wear on these two blogs is sort of amazing with Face Hunter updating more frequently with pix of fashion-forward young Europeans and The Sartorialist showcasing more sartorial looks from around the world.

Some Face Hunter inspiration:

Sometimes though, I don’t understand Face Hunter. For example:

Seriously??? First of all, are you really wearing a Balenciaga armor-inspired floral top? AND girl, you’re carrying around a HAMBURGER purse? Oh my god, you are SOOO avant garde! You belong in FRUiTS! I love you! Not. Barf. This type of edginess is not cute. Please stop. Thanks.

Face Hunter, please don’t disappoint me again! Step up yo’ game!

xoxo,
Cynthia

Is that like a mention to when you were using my camera last week? It's OK, I forgive you! Kidding...some turned out rather well.

I like that you've fully incorporated Internets into your online vocab.

p.s. you should check out Tobi Style Scout at http://www.tobi.com -- pretty cool...
